Great speed from an awesome looking and excellent performing laptop. Reloaded recently with MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Boot times are quicker and it's seems much more responsive with Windows 7 than compared to Vista which used to run on this laptop.
The new Windows 7 OS is backed up to a hidden partition using GIGABYTE Xpress Recovery2 so you can immediately restore it if your your machine gets infected or blown away with malware. I will show you how easy it is to do personally. Comes with 120W AC adapter, cord and an extended 12-cell battery that will keep you going for hours even without a place to plugin to.
I put the new Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 on a thumb drive and booted to the LiveCD .iso and it ran like a charm, so if you're into open source or alternate operating systems, this will work for you.
